El Raton Media Works offers Raton students

free after-school STEM programs

made possible by grants from the Encantado Foundation

and the NMSU STEM Innovation Network.

ERMW will deliver two OST programs during

the 2025–2026 school year.

CyberPatriot (Cybersecurity)

    Starting in September 2025 through May 2026.

    CyberPatriot is the National Youth Cyber Education Program created by the Air & Space Forces Association to inspire K-12 students toward careers in cybersecurity or other science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) disciplines critical to our nation's future. Students act as IT professionals defending virtual networks in an engaging, competitive format. CyberTigers runs one day a week from January through May at the Intermediate School for 5th and 6th graders, and one day a week at the High School for grades 7-12.

Foundations of Technology with Robotics + AI modules

    Starting in January through May 2026

    Students will use the Foundations of Engineering, Technology, and Robotics curriculum, enhanced with robotics builds that connect to real-world creative applications. AI modules (computer vision, motion tracking) introduce students to emerging technologies used in modern studios and advanced manufacturing. Robotics + AI runs one day a week from January through May at the Intermediate School for 5th and 6th graders, and one day a week at the High School for grades 7-12.
